Chile: Ammonia leak in fruit packing plant leaves one dead and over one hundred evacuated

The incident occurred around 1.15 am in the company’s packing Nobles, in the O’Higgins Region, while working at the site 150 employees. The only victim was inside a cold room. One worker died and another in critical condition, in addition to 163 people evacuated, was the result of a leak of ammonia recorded this morning in a fruit packing Company Nobles SA, located on Avenida La Morera the Company in Codegua commune, Region of O’Higgins.
