Latin America , poverty and climate change contribute to dengue spread

The meeting “A new challenge: new opportunities for research collaboration against dengue”, sponsored by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), brings together specialists to Friday across the continent in San Juan. The aim is to exchange information and identify priorities in the fight against disease transmitted by aedes aegypti mosquito, which each year affects about 100 million people worldwide.
