Cartagena, mototaxistas contributing to increase in crime

What started as an alternative to employment in some cities on the coast became, over the years a strategic ally for the crime. Thefts, murders and freight costs (under the hired killers) are common in places where the surfaced mototaxistas as a way to compensate for the absence of transportation in the suburbs of the towns of this region. Such is the case of Cartagena. An approximate figure of motorcycles in the city accounts for approximately 47 000, of which roll daily through the streets of the Heroic half of them applies here as far ‘Pico y Placa ‘for this type of vehicle.
