Venezuela, Public transport units required to have GPS, panic buttons, video cameras

The placement of a comprehensive monitoring system with satellite tracking devices will be compulsory in all public land transport units, reported Monday the Deputy Minister of Public Safety, Nestor Luis Reverol. After the third session of the Security Bureau with the various state security and national public transport sectors, the Deputy Minister announced that by consensus it was agreed to establish these measures in transport units, which will allow provide better care and service to both carriers and users, and above all, ensure more safety to passengers.
