Top ten driving infractions in Cartagena, Colombia

Driving vehicles without carrying a driver’s license is the most traffic violation committed in Cartagena. According to the Administrative Department of Traffic and Transportation Cartagena (DATT) , so far, 2011 have been imposed for this violation 5803 subpoenas to the National Traffic Code, incurred in both motorcyclists and other types of vehicles. The report of the county transit authority indicates that the second offense committed in more local roads is driving motorcycles without respecting the rules of the road, by which 4394 were given summonses.
