Senate and House of Colombia adopted the ‘Law of TLC’

Bill 201 of 2012, which contains the so-called “law of NAFTA ‘ , was approved by the Senate. The House, meanwhile, also voted in the affirmative.

In the House, the procedure was painless. Each political party voted as a bloc and the initiative passed without major drawbacks. In the Senate, however, the matter was a little more time consuming. Began after 4 pm, although it had been cited for the 3 – and the law in question only began to be debated after an hour and a half. Read Article
