Police Seize 4,000 Ecstasy Pills in Southern Brazil

On February 4, 2013, O Dia reported that the Federal Police arrested a man carrying some 4,000 ecstasy pills en route to distribute them to various parts of southern Brazil.  The man was caught at Iguazu Falls, which connects Brazil to Argentina.  Police intelligence discovered the man, a resident of Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, as a drug dealer, making trips back and forth across the Brazilian border.  When they arrested him and seized the drugs, police also found other drugs and discovered that the car he was using was stolen from Santa Catarina’s capital, Florianópolis.  Read Article
