Peru: Over 11,000 children under age five with pneumonia through May 2012

A total of 11.362 children under five years ill with pneumonia in Peru from January to May, and 130 of them died due to problems of nutrition, hygiene and inadequate housing for the cold, told Efe a source at the Ministry of Health.
