Nariño, Colombia: Navy Destroys Two Clandestine FARC Laboratories

From lainformacion.com on August 17, 2013- The Colombian Navy destroyed two clandestine FARC laboratories in the department of Nariño. Together, these two labs could produce around 280 kilos of cocaine a month. The two operations occurred in the villages of Satinga and Mosquera. In the Santinga laboratory, troops found 180 gallons of liquid materials and 150 kilos of solid materials both used to process drugs. In addition, there were 10 hectares of coca plants. In the Mosquera lab, authorities found 230 gallons of liquid and 150 kilos of solids to manufacture drugs. Read Article
