Six Ecuadorians detained in southern Colombia with 1.5 tons of cocaine

eluniverso.com reported Colombian agents seized 1.5 tons of cocaine and arrested six Ecuadorians allegedly linked to dissidents from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), the country’s defense minister said Wednesday.

Speaking to the press in Guayaquil, Colombian minister Luis Carlos Villegas stated that “the military and police leadership has just reported the intervention it has made in Tumaco (Department of Nariño, Colombia) through which we have been able to seize more than a ton And half of coca. “There are six Ecuadorian citizens detained and the operation is maintained.”
