Mexico City, Mexico: PAN Representative Alleges Street Vendors Victims of Child Trafficking

On August 12, 2013 Criterio Hidaldo Noticias reported that PAN Rep. Olivia Garza has filed a complaint with the local attorney general alleging that teens are being forced to sell sexual services at two intersections in Mexico City. According to the complaints, two citizens claimed the female teens were attempting to sell gum to drivers at the intersection of La Viga and Chabacano and the intersection of Buenavista and Insurgentes. When the drivers refused to buy the gum, the teenage girls then offered to perform oral sex in exchange for 20 pesos.
