Menorca Spain: ring of narco traffickers dismantled, ties to Ecuador, Colombia, Panama

Team organized crime and drug (EDOA) Civil Guard has dismantled an organization Balears criminal smuggling cocaine from South America to Menorca. In the course of this operation has indicted five people for drug trafficking and have seized more than 11.5 kilos of cocaine. As reported in a statement, “Operation Robins’ began in late March and it was detected as a group of Spanish and South American people, settled in Menorca, introduced” significant quantities “of drugs from countries like Colombia, Ecuador and Panama for later sale to other buyers and consumers.
