Lima, Peru: Authorities Detain Spanish, Mexican, Bolivian, and Peruvian Traffickers in International Airport

From lainformacion.com on June 18, 2013- Last week Peruvian authorities arrested a Spaniard, a Mexican, a Bolivian, and three Peruvians for attempting to smuggle 11.9 kilos of cocaine to Spain. All six traffickers were detained at the Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima. The Spaniard was arrested with 2.4 kilos of cocaine hidden in handicrafts and the Mexican had ingested 1.5 kilos of the drug in capsules. The Bolivian was arrested with 3 kilos of cocaine hidden in vials of natural products. Two of the Peruvians were found with 1.5 kilos and 1 kilo of cocaine capsules that had been ingested, and the other Peruvian had 2.5 kilos of the drug hidden in the lining of two coats. Read Article
