Drug Trafficking Tourist from Israel Arrested in Peru

larepublica.peA tourist of Israeli nationality requested by the authorities of his country was captured this morning by the police in the district cusqueño of Wanchaq. Israel Shalom (32), identified with passport No. 22637657, has an arrest warrant for illicit drug trafficking.
The foreigner was interviewed when he was traveling on Gordon Back Street in Urb. Santa Rosa . He did not resist when requested by the authorities.
Shalom was placed at the disposal of the Judicial Police Cusco, later to carry out the procedures and to be taken before the requesting authorities of his country.

 
In 2013 the police dismantled an international band dedicated to illicit drug trafficking from Peru to Israel.

 
The network formed by seven Israeli citizens, one Ecuadorian and one Peruvian was disrupted on June 6 of that year. The drug was shipped through burriers , in clothing and other accessories.

 
The Peruvian Paul Martin Eskenazi Pinto (35) was arrested and tried by the Peruvian judiciary, the other members, in Israel.

 
These narcos tried to open a new drug route from Peru, through Ecuador, Holland and finally Israel. In that country, the kilo of cocaine costs up to 70 thousand dollars. Read Article
