Guayaquil, Ecuador 2200 telephone lines knocked out of service due to copper theft

Another theft affected facilities National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) as telephone wiring was stolen from one of its pipelines. Occurred early last Friday.

The series affected by the fault to the herd yesterday was the 250-000, 250-999, 265-0000, 265-0999. The extension cable was stolen from a pipeline is 36 meters. The fire knocked out telephone service to customers in the residential and commercial sectors of cooperatives Fighters North, Juan Montalvo, 9 km of the road to Daule, San Ignacio de Loyola, Santa Cecilia and urbanization perimeter road.
