Free Trade Agreement Between Switzerland and Colombia

•Swissinfo.ch reports that the agreement will go into effect on July 1st of this year.
•In 2010, bilateral commerce between the two countries amounted to 1.25 billion Swiss Francs.
•The Colombian government will eliminate duties on 85% of Swiss chemical, pharmaceutical, and technological products.
•The Swiss government will do the same for Colombian fruits such as bananas, papaya and will give a preferential rate to flowers and tobacco. Read Article
