Ecuador, three criminal judges accused of malfeasance

The interior minister, José Serrano, filed a complaint of malfeasance against the three members of the Third Criminal Court of Azuay. These judges, on February 3 gave freedom to Johnny O., 25, who was detained in Cuenca Men’s Prison. He was involved accused of raping a child of four years, the previous year. Three days after being free, Johnny O. allegedly shot and killed a 12 year old girl in the corner of Honore and Mariano Vázquez Cave, in the center of the capital Azuay. Read Article
