Ecuador raises level of octane in fuel

Quito, 02/abr/2012.- From April 1, 2012 marks the second phase of the breeding program that PE fuel Petroecuador began in November 2011, as announced by the General Manager of the company, Mr. Marco Calvopiña.

The program substantially improves the octane of gasoline, so that the quality Extra rises from 81 to 87 octane and Super, from 91 to 95 octane. It also reduces the sulfur content from 2000 to 650 parts per million (ppm), both gasoline as the Super Extra. Read Article
