Belarusian firm may have found new oil reservoir in Ecuador

eng.belta.by /  1 September (BelTA) – While building a new well in the Armadillo oil field in Ecuador, specialists of the Belarusian oil company Belorusneft secured free oil flow to the surface of up to 100 tonnes per day, the company’s press service told BelTA. According to the acquired data, the Belarusian specialists may have tapped into a new oil reservoir. A field research is in progress to determine the reservoir’s potential. It will be the second hydrocarbon reservoir discovered by the Belarusian oil company in Ecuador within one month. In early August while building the Armadillo 2 well in the Volcanica stratum increased gas indications were registered.
