Ecuador: Pharmaceutical company closed by authorities for storing expired, unregistered medications

telegrafo.com.ec reported that aAfter a process of research, the health portfolio next to the Fiscalía closed this company that has its facilities in the North of the city of Quito. The company Adipharm Express S.A., responsible for storing pharmaceuticals, was closed yesterday to keep in their cellars medicines expired from 2012 and others without registration. The operation was carried out by the Ministry of health and the General Prosecutor’s Office of the State, after a preliminary investigation.

In the cellar (to the North of Quito) Llano Chico-based authorities showed that cancer, cardiovascular, diabetes medications and even to lose weight were mixed.
