Ecuador: Pharmaceutical company closed by authorities for storing expired, unregistered medications

The company Adipharm Express S.A., responsible for storing pharmaceuticals, was closed yesterday to keep in their cellars medicines expired from 2012 and others without registration. The operation was carried out by the Ministry of health and the General Prosecutor’s Office of the State, after a preliminary investigation.

In the cellar (to the North of Quito) Llano Chico-based authorities showed that cancer, cardiovascular, diabetes medications and even to lose weight were mixed.
