Ecuador: 872 traffic related deaths first four months of 2014

telegrafo.com.ec reported 12,425 accidents and 872 deaths through April of 2014. The highest number of deaths were recorded in Pichincha (186) and Guayas (161) provinces. Azuay (Cuenca) number of fatalities have doubled to 52. The cause of accidents is blamed on driving inexperience, speeding, and intoxicated drivers.
