Drugs from Hong Kong found in Guatemalan port after passing through Panama

Anti-narcotics officials in Guatemala seized 80 tons of cocaine paste in the port of Puerto Quetzal. The shipment had remained unclaimed since its arrival on July 21, 2012, Siglo 21 reports. Documents indicated it contained varnish, but upon opening the container, it was clear that it was concealing cocaine paste. Officials believe the drugs originated in Hong Kong and passed through Panama before arriving in Guatemala. Read Article
