Dengue takes 29 lives in Paraguay

In a news conference this morning the Institute of Social Welfare (IPS) reported that there have been 11,103 confirmed cases of dengue fever in Paraguay so far this year, per abc.com.py. They also reported that the illness has caused 29 deaths. Of those that presented with dengue, 54% visited the doctor due to respiratory infections and 75% of those infected are under the age of 10.
