Colombia and Peru agree to increase joint operations along transnational border

The Colombian Defense Minister Juan Carlos Pinzón, and his pair of Peru, Alberto Otárola, agreed today after a meeting in Bogota that both countries will increase joint operations and cooperation to cope with crime transnational border area between the two nations.

“We will schedule joint and combined operations in coming months will be conducted, both to act against illegal groups to work for the people of these regions,” said the Colombian minister.
