Caracas: Seven diplomats victims of crime in last year and half

Mexico’s ambassador in Caracas, Carlos Pineiro Pujalte was plagiarized on the morning of January 29 with his wife . After paying a sum of money that has not been informed either by local authorities or by the embassy that represents both the ordeal ended when they were released unharmed. But his captors remain at large.

Fortunately, for Pineiro had a final more positive than that he lived in November Chilean consul in Caracas. Juan Carlos Fernandez was assaulted as he left a hotel . During his captivity for more than two hours, was threatened, was beaten and shot gun.
Express kidnappings are one of the most common crimes in that city, which in the last decade has been a noticeable increase in crime and violence.
