The State Mining Corporation of Bolivia (Comibol) confirmed Wednesday that two tons of rock found in a residential neighborhood in the heart of La Paz were not uranium, as the government initially said, and that probably is tantalum.

“In the first instance it was thought mineral containing uranium, but this was quickly ruled out, at least as radioactive uranium, for which measurements have been made with the right equipment the day” Tuesday, said at a press conference the president Comibol, Hector Cordova.
