Yasuni National Park Ecuador: Coca Plants found and clandestine lab discovered

ecuavisa.com reported the army discovered plants coca and a clandestine base of processing of drug in the Yasuni National Park. The finding was in Orellana province, canton Aguarico sector Nuevo Rocafuerte, where most of the 980 thousand hectares comprising the Yasuni National Park, is one of the most important ecological reserves of the planet. According to army personnel of the Brigade of Selva 57 Montecristi, in coordination with local authorities, it destroyed coca plants located in the ecological reserve and seized the material found in the clandestine laboratory.
