Woman dies on American Airlines flight from Brazil to Dallas

An American Airlines flight bound from Brazil to Dallas was diverted to Houston on Wednesday because a passenger became ill and 25 died aboard the plane, police said.

Shortly before dawn, airport authorities requested the presence of the homicide detectives at George Bush Intercontinental Airport after receiving notice that the American flight 962 bound for Houston due to a medical emergency with a passenger. The woman was pronounced dead after the plane landed, authorities said. Read Article
