Venezuela Tests Missiles with the Help of Cuba

May 22, 2013- El Sol de Margarita reported that the Venezuelan military tested one Otomat MK-2 missile, out of 18, that were acquired more than forty years ago and were restored with the help of Cuba. The missile can carry a payload of approximately 240 kilos. Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro said that the missiles are for defending and maintaining Venezuelan sovereignty. President of the Parliament, Diosdado Cabello, also stated that the missile test is part of a growing defense capability and will make Venezuela untouchable by any foreign power. Read Article
