Venezuela enacts new rules for the procurement and use of police weapons

The Venezuelan Ministry of Defense has published a set of rules to control the acquisition, possession, use, registration, ammunition, equipment and accessories for the bodies and law enforcement bodies.
According to the Official Gazette, embodied in the report, the new rule specifies that only police officers used “special weapons” are the CICPC, the intelligence agencies of the State (Sebin, DIM) and the National Police. Read Article
