Uncertainty dominates the elections in Peru

Peru is about the tightest presidential election in its history. In the absence of 10 days to the April 10 elections, no fewer than five candidates have with chance of advancing to a runoff. Polls released last weekend agree that the clear advantage he enjoyed a month ago the president Alejandro Toledo has evaporated and the new leader of the surveys is the nationalist Ollanta Humala, with about 22% of the intention vote, followed closely by Keiko Fujimori and Toledo (who have between 20% and 21%), and a little further by economist Pedro Pablo Kuczynski (16%) and the former mayor of Lima, Luis Castaneda, who started the campaign as a leader and now has a support of around 15%.
