U.S. Intelligence agency doubts whether or not Chavez is cured of cancer

The National Director of U.S. Intelligence, James Clapper, said today in written testimony before the Senate that “there is still doubt” that the Venezuelan president, Hugo Chavez, is cured of his cancer. According to Clapper, “Chávez announced that he has cancer, but there are still doubts about his health” and recalled that during his 12 years in power have weakened democratic institutions and representative in Venezuela.
