Romanian arrested for bringing drugs from Latin America to Europe

Romanian citizen Iustin Victor Radulescu (55) was arrested in Constanta, Romania on Italian accusations of trafficking drugs to Europe from Latin America. According to El Nacional, his arrest warrants were issued because of activity between 2007 and 2008, in which Radulescu brought three shipments of cocaine weighing nine tons into Europe. He had purchased the cocaine in Latin America. Radulescu is also thought to have led a network that organized additional shipments into the continent. Officials in Portugal and Spain intercepted several shipments. A court is now organizing his extradition to Italy. Read Article
