Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil: Passenger Uses Windsurf Board to Transport Cocaine

Terra reported on August 10, 2013 that the Federal Police seized 14.7 kilograms of cocaine hidden within a windsurfing board at the Salgado Filho International Airport in Porto Alegre. Police as well confiscated 2,000 euros. The drug was destined to Barcelona, Spain. Police suspected suspicion from the 26-year-old man due to his behavior, the presence of a windsurfing board, and the detection of the drug by x-ray. Read Article
