Peru: International mining companies understand need of understanding social sensitivity

The large-scale international companies now understand that social commitment is essential in areas of exploration and exploitation of natural resources in Peru, said the British magazine The Economist. “International companies now understand that it is essential to any social sensitivity and commitment to the residents of the area where they will operate and incorporate them in their efforts,” said the editor for the Americas at The Economist, Michael Reid.
