Paraguay apologizes for death of two children forced into military service

President Fernando Lugo, publicly apologized to the families of two missing children in 1996 and 2000 during his military service is compulsory in Paraguay, to the mothers of the victims.
“I apologize on behalf of the Paraguayan State. Reaffirm our commitment to respect the commitments to respect the agreements made in the field of Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR),” the president said. Read Article
