Oil Spill (30,000 LITERS) in oil plant plant Calbuco, Chile

The Captain of the Port of Calbuco confirmed that traces of the thousands of gallons of oil spilled from the plant Pure Copec Wednesday night.
In the newly opened Fuel Storage Plant spill occurred about 30 billion liters, then to fail one of the valves in the pipes leading to the ponds foam in case of fire, pouring fuel on the surface.

Sector and the neighbors had complained that the fuel had reached the shellfish harvest area and now the Harbor Master confirms that from 19 hours on Thursday have been found traces of oil at sea. Read Article
