Mexico investigates possible rebel group wanting to take up arms against the government

presstv.ir reported that Mexico has decided to investigate the alleged formation of a rebel group calling for an armed revolt against the government of President Enrique Pena Nieto. The office of Mexico’s Attorney General said Monday that a probe is to be launched into the existence of the group, which calls itself the Revolutionary Armed Forces-People’s Liberation. The decision came after the rebel group’s leader read out a statement to reporters a day earlier in the troubled southern state of Guerrero, calling on Mexicans to take up arms against the government, which it says is repressive.
