Mexico: If Popocatépetl volcano alert goes red, voting locations could be changed

Unless you change the volcanic alert to red on the day or in the hours before the Electoral Institute of Mexico State (IEEM) will specify the relocation of boxes in the Popocatepetl area to safeguard the right of citizens to vote . Among the areas of risk for volcanic alert, the IEEM includes the municipalities of Cocotitlan, Tlalmanalco Temamatla, Tenango Air, Amecameca, Juchitepec, Ayapango Atlautla, Ozumba, Tepetlixpa, Ecatzingo.
