Mexico: Army arrests Michoacan’s director of Public Safety for possession of drugs and weapons.

On May 30th, Michoacan’s Director of Public Safety, Antonio Ruiz Acosta, was detained by army officials in the community of Barranquillas, Michoacan. After a traffic stop officers found approximately 465grams of Methamphetamines, a .223 caliber AR-15 rifle, three magazines with 78 rounds of ammunition, a 0.9mmgun with 11 rounds of ammunition and 9,250 pesos inside his vehicle.
