Mexican national detained Nogales, Arizona trying to enter Mexico with 200,000 dollars

On Memorial weekend a man, resident of Sonora, was apprehended by Border Patrol officials when he attempted crossing 200,000 dollars into Mexico. The 37 year-old man was detained in the Dennis DeConcini Border Station, where officials found numerous packages, containing money, hidden in various compartments inside his vehicle. The suspect was incarcerated in the Santa Cruz detainment center, but will be transferred to a federal prison with contraband, money laundering, tax evasion and various other charges. Read Article
