Letters of Women, fighting discrimination and sexual violence in Ecuador

Combating discrimination and sexist violence in Ecuador through the therapeutic value and denunciation of the cards is the goal of “Letters of Women,” a new project that encourages victims to write stories that reveal the severity of a scourge that has suffered 80% of women ever.

“We want to show women’s voices are not normally heard. Their stories are abused or silenced, but represent the daily lives of many people in the country,” he told Efe Ana Rodriguez, coordinator of the Contemporary Art Centre ( CAC ) of Quito, which driving the project with UN Women and the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ).
