Iran – Ecuador plan closer bilateral relations

tasnimnews.com reported Iranian first vice-president expressed Tehran’s enthusiasm for the enhancement of bilateral relations with Ecuador in all fields. In a Sunday message to his Ecuadorian counterpart Jorge Glas, Eshaq Jahangiri congratulated the Latin American nation and government on the country’s Independence Day.

“I hope we will witness a further enhancement of ties between the two countries for the development and welfare of the two nations in the whole fields of mutual interest by employing the available potential in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Ecuador,” the Iranian official said. The promotion of all-out cooperation with the Latin American countries has been among the top priorities of the Islamic Republic’s foreign policy over the past few years. Read Article
