Inmate in Argentina received drugs in cigarettes and candy packages

Two men visiting a prisoner in the Charata jail in Argentina were arrested after it was discovered they were smuggling drugs to the inmate. According to Diario Primera Linea, the two visitors, one a minor, brought two packs of cigarettes and one bag of candy into the prison. After examination, it was evident the cigarettes were concealing marijuana and the candy bag was hiding cocaine. Officials indicated that this was not the first time visitors have attempted to supply drugs to prisoners, and that family members typically smuggle the drugs.
