Inflation Rate 2012 Peru, 2.65 percent

Peru’s inflation in 2012 was 2.65%, lower than that recorded in 2011 and within the range expected by the central bank, said the National Statistics Institute (INEI). The sectors that were the price increased food, clothing, rental housing, fuel and electricity prices. Peru’s central bank established a national inflation target of between 1% and 3% for 2012.
