Honduras: at least thirteen dead in prison fire

A fire which occurred on Thursday in the prison of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, leaving at least thirteen inmates dead. This was announced by AFP.
“There are 13 bodies, we can not establish the precise details of the incident, wait for research results,” said Marlene Banegas, coordinator of the prosecutors in San Pedro Sula. The fire originated in one of the modules of that prison and was put down by the defendants themselves with buckets of water, after which the bodies were found, according to official reports.
