Guatemala: Remittances from abroad up 11.4% first two months 2012

Sending remittances to Guatemala grew 11.4% in first two months
The sending of family remittances from Guatemalans abroad during the first two months of this year exceeded by 11.4% to the amount entered at the same time last year, the central bank said. According to the records of the Bank of Guatemala (Banguat, center) on its website in January and February last entered the country 655,477,000 dollars in remittances, while a year ago the figure was 587,969,000 dollars.
