Extreme caution advised driving Ecuador due to extensive road network damage

Caution. This is currently the most repeated recommendation when traveling through the country’s roads. By force of winter damage are presented of various sizes in most of the road network. Drivers, police, security guards and the Ministry of Transport and Public Works (MTOP) warn of these problems. In some ways it is convenient to travel only during daylight hours so that in case of a possible closure, the driver and passengers do not get caught on the road for hours. And this recommendation is more critical when we are two days of the Easter holiday, which is a major mobilization to different destinations. Read Article
