El Paso Texas: former Border Patrol Agent pleads guilty in conspiracy charge

A former Border Patrol agent pleaded guilty in federal court in El Paso to conspiracy to procure weapons on federal business licenses in the city, while still working for the immigration agency, knowing that their final destination was illegal importation to Mexico. According to the district attorney of New Mexico, Kenneth J. Gonzalez, Ricardo Montalvo agent, 29 and citizen of El Paso, pleaded guilty as part of an agreement reached with the authorities.
