Ecuador: Tungurahua volcano activity triggers orange alert in four provinces

The National Secretariat for Risk Management, SNGR, yesterday declared an orange alert in four provinces in areas of influence of the Tungurahua volcano, which in recent days has seen an increase in activity, reported that institution. The Tungurahua volcano shows an increase in emissions of gases and ash, and explosions of varying intensity, according to the latest report of the Geophysical Institute. Read Article
